About Us
Aaron and Melissa Allen always dreamt of opening up a brewery. Aaron, a Chemical Engineer and avid home brewer, Melissa, with a love of customer service, always dreamed they would open up a brewery in their retiring years. Completing her MBA, Melissa developed a set of contacts that enabled her to shorten the timeline, bringing their dream to a closer reality. Aaron and Melissa made their dream come true with the brewery opening with a New Year’s Eve launch party in 2014!
SEVEN ARROW’S STORY
Seven Arrows Brewing Company’s name was inspired by a Native American blessing. It references the creator, the earth, the four directions, and back to the creator. It all comes together with the logo of the compass rose signifying the four directions and the four main ingredients of beer.
Seven Arrows Brewing Company’s hope is to provide high quality craft brewed beers to the Shenandoah Valley. Drawing on the experience and capability of the head brewer, Seven Arrows provides guests with delicious beer in a relaxed environment in which they can be enjoyed.

Our Team
Aaron Allen
Owner/Head Brewer
Aaron Allen received a B.S. in Chemical Engineering with Honor from Michigan State University in 2001. It wasn’t until 2008 when Aaron and Melissa moved to VA that he became actively involved in large scale production brewing.
Melissa Allen
Owner/President
Melissa Allen received a B.S. in Software Engineering from Florida State University in 2004 and completed her MBA from James Madison University in May of 2013. She has lived in VA since 2008 with her husband Aaron.
Win Hunter
Assistant Brewer
Win grew up in Lynchburg, VA and completed school at Lynchburg College. Win has been brewing with Aaron, Seven Arrows Brewmaster, since 2012. With a love for beer and sports, Win has been an integral member.
Sarah Reed
General Manager
Sarah has been with the Seven Arrows crew since March of 2022. She loves beer, animals, plants, reading, her family and friends, the beach, and watching tv. Sarah's favorite beer is the Riverstone DIPA.
Dan Myers
Bartender
Dan "The Man" has been a vital part of the Seven Arrows crew since doors open in 2014. Dan runs his family farm, plays guitar, and sing with a local acoustic trio, Crop Circle Conspiracy. Dan also hosts Open Mic Night here at Seven Arrows on the first Tuesday of every month. Dan's favorite beer is the Deadfall Porter.
Darrin Johnson
Bartender
Darrin has been with the Seven Arrows crew since March of 2022. When he is not here, you can see him enjoying craft beers around the valley or riding around on his motorcycle. Darrin's favorite beer is the Oats Merlots Oatmeal Stout.
